General Laborer

Fisher Printing is a leading regional and national printer of retail advertising inserts and newspaper ads. We are looking for energetic team members who would like to learn about the printing process and excel at our print manufacturing facility. Are you interested in machines or how things work? Take this opportunity to learn at a company where there is opportunity for advancement. Team members will be jogging bundles of printed ads neatly as they come out of a stacker. You will then move the printed ads from a stacker to a pallet. Bundles must be stacked neatly on each pallet and strapped when required. Team member will verify that stacker is counting correctly and that the count per bundle is correct. You will also verify that each pallet contains the correct number of bundles and the correct total quantity. Team member will monitor ad quality and watch for quality issues including wrinkling, tearing, folding over, scumming, as well as other print quality issues. You will notify first or second press operator of any quality issues. Make and pack boxes when required. Assist in press duties as instructed by team leader or supervisor Assist in clean-up of work area, plant, and press as instructed by team leader or supervisor.
